“Seth Rogen dates way above his pay grade” is practically a comedy subgenre of its own at this point. This time around, he’s playing Fred Flarsky, a political writer who reconnects with his unrequited childhood crush, Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron), who also happens to be the sitting U.S. Secretary of State, in director Jonathan Levine’s (50/50) new movie Long Shot. Plus, Bob Odenkirk co-stars as the idiot President of the United States!

Long Shot got unexpectedly glowing reviews following its debut at this year’s SXSW film festival, and we’re giving our readers in Chicago the chance to see if they agree with those reviewers early and for free. We’re giving away admit-two passes to a screening of Long Shot with a special appearance from O’Shea Jackson Jr.—you know, Ice Cube’s son? From Straight Outta Compton?on Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30 PM at our usual haunt of the AMC River East (322 E. Illinois St.). To enter to win your pass, simply follow this link and enter some basic information. Just be sure to arrive early, as advance screenings, especially the ones with special guests, are intentionally overbooked to ensure capacity.
